3D Animation Tests
1. Bouncing Ball
Assignment: Take the elements supplied; table, ball, cup and saucer. Have the ball bounce in and knock cup and saucer off table.
2. Big Ball
Assignment: Same as above—reinterpreted assignment to create a more unique test.
3. Mulan surprised with coffee cup
Assignment: Take the cup and saucer provided and “roto” them into the hand of the 2D character.
4. Mulan hiding with coffee cup
Assignment: Take the cup and saucer provided and “roto” them into the hand of the 2D character.
5. Shang hitting props
Assignment: Take the elements provided; staff, bucket and vase, and “roto” them into the hands of the 2D character to make his actions make sense.
6. Buick on the Hill
Assignment: The car is parked by the house on the layout. Have the car leave the house and come down the hill in time with the camera move.
7. Buick through the leaves
Assignment: The car drives through frame kicking up leaves. Create collision surface for instanced leaves and manipulate field rigs to make leaves look believable.
